Join the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders to learn about Miami Beach’s Art Deco Historic District on a guided walking tour with “Miami Famous” George Neary, President and CEO of Tours “r” Us.
Legendary arts leader, George Neary served as Associate Vice President for Cultural Tourism for the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau for 20 years and, prior to that, as Executive Director of the Miami Design Preservation League of Miami Beach. Miami Famous since 1992, George owns and operates Tours “r” Us, specializing in curated tours of significant historic communities including the Art Deco District on Miami Beach; MiMo resort architecture; Wynwood; Miami Design District; Little Havana; Little Haiti; Downtown Miami; Historic Overtown; and Coconut Grove.
As we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders, we are pleased to offer opportunities for new and young arts professionals to connect with peers and learn more about the vibrant cultural history of Miami-Dade County.

Celebrating its 20th Anniversary, the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders is an initiative of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs to identify and cultivate the next generation of diverse arts leaders in our community. Since 2004, the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders have provided networking and resource sharing opportunities to encourage diverse, young/new arts administrators to explore professional development issues and opportunities.
