FOR ARTISTS
Miami Artist Census
Submission Deadline December 31, 2024
The Miami Artist Census is an artist-run research initiative that will identify and map the needs of Miami-based artists. Made for artists by artists, the county-wide data project will collect information that will help public and private funders know where and how to allocate funding for local artists, and provide public officials with the data needed to support policies responding to artists’ needs. Furthermore, it will give artists, art institutions, researchers, and the public, a clearer picture of what today’s Miami artist community looks like for years to come.
All artists living in Miami-Dade County are invited to be a part of history and complete the survey. Submissions will be accepted until December 31, 2024.
Learn more here and take the survey here.
If you’ve already taken the census or if you’re not an artist but would like to help us spread the word, we invite you to download, print, and share our info zine and flyer. Both include a QR code to the survey.
