A quarterly program which provides support to significant cultural and/or special events, including sports activities and television/film origination projects that promote Miami-Dade County’s appeal as a tourist destination. Activities must be able to stimulate tourism and have significant media impact for Miami-Dade County.

Small Matching and Special Category Grant Applications
Deadline June 1, 2022
The Division of Historical Resources is accepting Small Matching and Special Category grant applications via our online system from April 1 to June 1 at 5:00 PM (Eastern). In order to apply, visit the Department's online grant system at dosgrants.com. Applicants will need a user profile and to be associated with the organization they represent. For help getting started, view the FAQ under "Help" in the grant system.

Spring Grants Application Deadlines June 1, 2022
Spring grant applications available at DOSGrants.com. The deadline to submit is 5:00 p.m. EDT, June 1, 2022.
General Program Support
Program provides funding for Florida’s arts and cultural organizations, both public and private. GPS is designed to fund general program activities (as opposed to a specific project) of an organization. The grant funding should further the State’s cultural objectives by:
- conducting, creating, producing, presenting, staging or sponsoring cultural exhibits, performances, educational programs, or events; or
- providing professional services as a State Service Organization or Local Arts Agency.
Specific Cultural Project
The Specific Cultural Project (SCP) grant is designed to fund a single cultural project, program, exhibition, or series taking placing within the grant period (July 1 – June 30). The grant activities must support the mission of the organization or artist and further the state's cultural objectives. Organizations and individuals are both eligible to apply.
The Cultural Facilities Program coordinates and guides the State of Florida's support and funding of renovation, new construction, or acquisition of cultural facilities.
The purpose of the Cultural Endowment Program is to create an endowment matching funds program that will provide operating resources to participating cultural organizations. Applications for designation as a Cultural Sponsoring Organization may be submitted at any time. See the Cultural Endowment Guidelines for more information.

Art in Public Places Program
MSC Miami Cruise Terminal at PortMiami Artist Call

Eligibility: Artists based in the United States
Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs through its Art in Public Places Program and Miami-Dade County Seaport-Port Miami, MSC Cruises, and Arquitectonica request qualifications for artists to be considered to make full proposals for the new MSC Miami Cruise Terminal AA/AAA at PortMiami. The project is located on the north-eastside of Dodge Island. The MSC Miami Cruise Terminal is located at PortMiami’s most visible location and will be the last terminal viewed by every cruise ship departing PortMiami and the first terminal viewed by every cruise ship returning to PortMiami. The total project budget is $2.8 million, with multiple commissions envisioned. Expertise / experience in time-based media is encouraged. Individual Career Artist Opportunity Grants

The Individual Artist Career Opportunity Grant supports a milestone opportunity in an individual artist’s career that is likely to lead to substantial and significant career advancement. Grants of up to $2,000 are available to support opportunities taking place between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023.

Individuals receiving this award are eligible to apply for other South Arts funding unrelated to this project. South Arts funds cannot be used as a match for this program. En Residencia

En Residencia reimagines Miami Dade College Koubek Center as an art incubator, a setting for discovery, growth, and artistic adventure for creators, arts organizations, and the community. En Residencia is a membership-based program that offers local artists the opportunity to use our classroom and rehearsal studio for a pre-determined period of time throughout the entire year to create work in exchange for, on a case-to-case basis, participation in one of the Center’s programs and/or activities.
The program has a total of four classroom spaces and one large studio space. Membership is valid for one year and artists can access the spaces for blocks of two months per project, with a maximum of two projects per year. Flexibility in terms of length of individual residencies will be considered on a case-to-case basis. Click here for details.
Music Access Miami Mini and Momentum Grants

Music Access Miami aims to bring the transformational power of music education to all youth and offering capacity building, general operating, and program support for music organizations serving youth and families across Miami-Dade County.
The second cycle of Music Access grants are open for applications through May 4, 2022. In this next round of Music Access Miami investments, two separate tracks for funding are aimed at increasing access to music education for youth in our community:
Mini Grants: One-time grants for grassroots programs, initiatives, and organizations serving youth through music to support program and operational costs.
OR
Momentum Grants: Multi-year grants for grassroots and Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC) led organizations serving youth through music to scale, expand and/or deepen their impact.

NALAC Fund for the Arts
NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA) is the only grant program of its kind. This year marks the return of the NALAC Fund for the Arts, with a renewed focus on exclusively supporting Latinx artists and organizations through project-based grant awards. The NFA Puerto Rico Artist Grant, a partnership with the Flamboyan Arts Fund, will support the production of work that will be presented and created by artists residing in Puerto Rico.
