The Community Grants program supports cultural programs, projects and events, such as fairs, parades and neighborhood festivals. The program funds arts projects with strong community involvement and/or outreach component and is particularly sensitive to the needs of indigenous cultural neighborhood activities and projects encouraging the preservation of heritage, traditions and culture, as well as social service organizations and cultural groups developing collaborative intervention projects using the arts.

Tourist Development Grants Program (TDC)

The Tourist Development Council grants program provides support to nonprofit and for-profit organizations presenting significant cultural or special events, including sports activities and television and film origination projects that promote Miami-Dade County’s appeal as a tourist destination.

Funding Arts Network Grant Workshop

The Funding Arts Network grant workshop will be held via Zoom and provide an overview of the 2024-2025 grant process with several changes and updates. Register in advance by sending your name, organization and email to vpgrants@fundingartsnetwork.org or on the website at www.fundingartsnetwork.org.
Deadline: STEP 1 Application is due on Friday, October 20, 2023

Fall/ Winter Application Deadline – October 9, 2023 at 11:59 PM
Offered in partnership with FUNDarte, the Artist Access (ART) Grants Program is designed to assist practicing, professional artists in any medium or discipline residing in Miami-Dade County pursue opportunities that will advance their practice and careers in demonstrable ways.
Eligible opportunities include artistic professional development and skill-building opportunities such as specialized workshops, artist residencies, technique classes with master artists, conferences, and teaching artist trainings. Register for a workshop for detailed program overview.

South Florida Cultural Consortium
FY 23-24 Application Deadline: Monday, October 2, 2023
The South Florida Cultural Consortium, an alliance of the arts councils of Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe and Palm Beach Counties grants visual and media artists with awards at either the $15,000 or $7,500 level. These awards are among the largest such honors accorded by local arts agencies to visual and media artists in the United States. Celebrating 35 years, (established 1988), the SFCC has awarded over $4 million in grants to more than 300 artists. In addition to receiving the grant, the artists take part in an exhibition hosted and organized by a visual arts institution in one of the five counties. Apply Here.
