Miami Emerging Arts Leaders - Miami-Dade County Art in Public Places 50th Year Anniversary Artist Panel Discussion

For the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders' November event, you are invited to attend Miami-Dade County Art in Public Places 50th Year Anniversary Artist Panel Discussion on Wednesday, November 6 at 6:00 p.m. at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), 1103 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132. Join Marialaura Leslie, Director of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, and other cultural leaders as we highlight select public artworks in some of Miami-Dade County’s most iconic public spaces. The panel will feature artists Michele Oka Doner, Edouard Duval-Carrié, Rosario Marquart and Roberto Behar (R & R Studios), Cristina Lei Rodriguez, Magnus Sodamin, and GeoVanna Gonzalez, and will be moderated by Jennifer Inacio, Associate Curator at Pérez Art Museum Miami and current member of the Miami-Dade County Art in Public Places Professional Advisory Committee. Art in Public Places is a program of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs.

Celebrating its 20th Anniversary, the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders is an initiative of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs to identify and cultivate the next generation of diverse arts leaders in our community. Since 2004, the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders have provided networking and resource sharing opportunities to encourage diverse, young/new arts administrators to explore professional development issues and opportunities. All arts professionals are welcome.
