The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, a national leader in arts accessibility, is presenting an ADA Silver Anniversary Summit with its partners, to celebrate 25 years of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
(Miami, June 30, 2015) - The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and Arts for Learning/Miami present a “Family Fun Night” to celebrate the culmination of the first Youth Arts in the Parks Creative Arts Summer Camp.
(Miami, June 23, 2015) – The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs has been recognized with an Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties (NACo) for the All Kids Included - Youth Arts in the Parks Program.
Youth Arts in the Parks is presented by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Disability Services and Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with Arts for Learning and Project AWWOL - A World WithOut Labels. Youth Arts in the Parks is an inclusive, socially-oriented arts program for children and youth with and without disabilities.
The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs was honored by the National Association of Counties (NACo) for "Going to the Museum": a tri-lingual printed guide & resource that prepares children for a museum visit.
