Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field. Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in public sector financial/budget management are required. Experience with grants and non-profit cultural facilities and with Miami-Dade County financial and budget systems is preferred.
Recruitment Notes
This job entails administrative and operational support in financial activities, budgeting, accounting, and procurement duties of the Department. Responsibilities include the management of daily processes and operations of accounts payable for procurement of goods and services, supervision, and approval of Purchase Orders for four cultural facilities, Administration Division, Arts and Public Places Division and Grants Division. Job components include the coordination and reviewing of budget information and data flows into the automated budgetary interface systems (e.g., BAT, RFRO) and supervision and monitoring of the preparation of the financial components of the departmental multi-year administrative, programmatic, and capital improvements plan.
