HOW DO I OBTAIN A COPY OF THE GOLDEN TICKET ARTS GUIDE?
It’s very easy to request a golden Ticket arts Guide. The 2017-2018 guide will be available in the month of November 2017. Simply call 305-499-8755 or submit your information via the online form with your name, address and contact number to receive your free copy via US Mail. Golden Ticket guides are also available for pick-up at local Miami-Dade County Libraries and Miami-Dade County Commission district offices.
HOW DO I USE THE GOLDEN TICKET ARTS GUIDE?
First, review the guide to find events or cultural venues that you would like to visit. Seniors are required to call the corresponding organization to make a reservation as the Golden Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. We recommend you call as early as possible to reserve your ticket. Check each listing and organization for specific information.
The day of the event you must clip a Golden Ticket coupon from the guide and fill out the back with the appropriate information. At the venue entrance you must present the following:
- Golden Ticket coupon per person
- Photo ID showing proof of age (62 years) and Miami-Dade County residency
- Senior centers or large groups that wish to attend a Golden Ticket event/venue must contact the participating organization in advance to make special Group Visit arrangements.
